Assessment

Outline of this unit
This unit is concerned with how we can enable trainees to develop their knowledge and understanding of assessment. We need to help trainees to understand the nature of different types of assessment, its varying purposes and audiences and how they can become both competent in using assessment strategies and yet also contribute to professional debate as to how we might enhance the quality of our assessment practices.
